The ONE is the smallest speaker in the ClairAudient line. The ClairAudient The One is a "bookshelf" speaker that measures only 7" high by 5.5" wide by 7" deep and sports a single 3" full-range, dynamic driver. The driver's cone is made of a titanium alloy, has a moving mass of only 2.5gm, and is capable of 12mm excursion. This A3-S driver is the same one found in Audience's flagship model, the ClairAudient 16+16 ($72,000/pair), which uses 32 of them.

The elimination of the inherent sonic compromises of a crossover and dissimilar drivers eliminates phase distortions and transient response degradation, and results in improved resolution. The One loads its single driver with a rear-facing, circular passive radiator. This occupies most of the speaker's rear panel and is mounted above a pair of binding posts. The One is wired internally with Audience's Ohno continuous casting (OCC) monocrystal wire.

Just like all of its larger ClairAudient siblings, the ONE uniquely provides the high resolution and speed of electrostatics, the power and authority of dynamic systems and the coherency of a point source. The ONE is designed with the same proprietary A3S Full Range Driver that is the heart of the entire line of ClairAudient loudspeakers. The ONE delivers spectacular imaging as well as a full and natural midrange unmatched by loudspeakers many times their size and price. The ONEs establish a new benchmark for reference quality sound reproduction from small affordable loudspeakers. The ONE will transport you into a new realm of listening pleasure, emotion and realism that was once only possible from larger and more costly speakers.

As of January 2016 The ONE is now available in our V2+ configuration. The V2+ includes new A3S2-16 drivers. These drivers are greatly improved due to:
- more powerful motor resulting from the use of higher quality steel in making the magnets.
- higher tolerance fit of motor to basket assembly connection resulting from re-tooling of the basket and CNC machining of the motor structure.
- implementation of Audience proprietary OCC copper tensile wires.
- elimination of jumper wires and 10 solder connections resulting from the conversion of dual 8 ohm voice coil design to a single 16 ohm voice coil.

The V2+ includes the above listed improvements to the drivers plus the use of beautiful solderless Tellurium spring tension binding posts and internal wiring with new Audience Au24 SX wire.

The sonic improvements of the V2+ design are nothing short of stunning. These improvements put the loudspeakers into a different class. They are more "high end". They sound like larger and more capable loudspeakers with noticeably more finesse, dynamics and resolution.

Whereas The ONE is 8 ohm, the V2+ is 16 ohms.

The ONE loudspeaker system is not just raising the bar, it is establishing a new category of performance as a true high end small-room reference monitor.

As of August, 2018 The ONE loudspeaker is available in Version 3 (V3) which includes the best of the V2+ in addition to some great new technologies. The improvements of the V3 loudspeakers are very significant resulting from the implementation of improved voice coil technology. The V3 voice coil technology provides faster rise time and greater control of the driver. Additionally, the V3 loudspeaker internal wiring includes the metallurgic improvements represented in the new Audience flagship frontRow cables wiring. The end result of these improvements is not subtle. The V3 loudspeakers are notably better in just about every aspect. The resolution is greater and the background is quieter resulting in a dramatically more palpable and tonally rich presentation. Dynamics and sound staging are also improved. The combination of these new features is not just an upgrade ... it warrants a whole new model version.

As of July, 2021 The ONE loudspeakers are available in Version 4 (V4). The improvements of the V4 loudspeakers are very significant resulting from the implementation of improved passive radiators and top of the line Eichmann ultra low mass pure copper binding posts.
