CLEARAUDIO CLEVER CLAMP

An ingenuously simple, proven and effective clamp that fits most turntables and does not add unnnecessary weight on the platter that on the trurntable' bearing. There is a 65 mm diameter plastic disc that slides over and grips the spindle, locking and clamping a record into place. Its upturned edge allow for easy handling and removal after use.

“Not so great on a Technics Sl-1210GR. Easy on, easy off but this device fails to provide very much clamping pressure. Records will sometimes actually spin underneath the clamp, which remains stationary on the spindle, while applying a record cleaning brush to the album. I'll be looking for something else.”
