CLEARAUDIO STRADIVARI V2 MC PHONO CARTRIDGE

Stradivari is synonymous with the absolute master-class of creating musical instruments. The Clearaudio Stradivari is a New-Generation-Super class moving coil cartridge capable of reproducing a dynamic range of 90 dB with a frequency response of 20 Hz up to 100,000 Hz. It is a Class A Recommended Component by Stereophile and a recipient of the 2010 Editors Choice Award by The Absolute Sound.

The generator has been redesigned in a revolutionary way by positioning and doubling the magnets (to 8 pcs.) so the coils are operating in a much stronger magnetic field. The strongest magnetic material available is also used: super neodymium. Through these achievements, the efficiency has been raised by 30%, which results in a higher output. All models now utilize the improved V2 generator and use the proven 24 ct. pure gold coils. The generator construction of the new V2 moving coil cartridge generation is absolutely symmetrical: mechanically, magnetically and electrically, a unique proprietary design by Clearaudio.

The new Micro-HD Diamond tip provides a hybrid parabolic geometry with stylus radii of 0.008 mm x 0.040 mm. The total mass (0.00016 g) is a fifth of the previous diamond stylus.

Cartridge body resonances, while tracking in the groove, are minimized through the twelve finger design of the mounting plate, each finger with a different radius. This is the result of constant research and development.

The long-aged ebony wood used for the main body of the Stradivari V2 cartridge provides great resistance to resonance and an excellent well-balanced sound.
