How to loop the K-5 thread replacement
(1) Cut the thread into a length applicable for use with your turntable.
(2) Tie the thread together. Make a tight knot as shown above. (Before making the knot, if you rub the end of the thread back and forth between your fingers to 'take out the twisting' of the thread, the knot will be better)
(3) After you have made the knot, cut off the end of the string.
(4) Replace the drive thread periodically once a year or depending on its use to maintain its intial characteristics. Replace it when it becomes too dirty or when it appears to have worn its friction.
