MICRO SEIKI K-15 K15 THREAD REPLACEMENT
After many years of research, LP Gear is now able to offer the finest quality replacement for the Micro Seiki K-15 thread. It offers tranquility, durability, longevity, and dimensional measurement similar to the original Micro Seiki design. This special thread is a brand new production - unlike the original K-15 which is around 40 years old. 10 yards.
How to loop the K-15 thread replacement
(1) Cut the thread into a length applicable for use with your turntable.
(2) Tie the thread together. Make a tight knot as shown above. (Before making the knot, if you rub the end of the thread back and forth between your fingers to 'take out the twisting' of the thread, the knot will be better)
(3) After you have made the knot, cut off the end of the string.
(4) Replace the drive thread periodically once a year or depending on its use to maintain its intial characteristics. Replace it when it becomes too dirty or when it appears to have worn its friction.Related material: http://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=30182&start=30
