The Ortofon 2M Mono Stylus is designed for use with the the Ortofon 2M Mono cartridge, a true mono cartridge. The 2m Mono cartridge features an improved true-mono engine that delivers a high level of sonic accuracy and fidelity. The precision shaped R 18µm Nude Spherical stylus is also an optimal solution for playing mono microgroove vinyl records. Note: You can install the 2M Mono stylus on any Ortofon 2M cartridge, however the sound performance will not be true mono. For true mono, use the 2M Mono stylus with the 2M Mono cartridge body or 2M 78 cartridge body.
