Terrible sounding replacement stylus

“The stylus I received was poorly made and sounds terrible. First of all, before opening the package I took this picture to show the shank doesn't run straight with the body of the stylus.

Secondly, this stylus sounds terrible. I took it off after playing 2 songs and put my 50 year old one back on instead. It has very low output, sounds like it is being playing while getting smothered by a pillow and has no bass or treble. I'm not sure if they're all like this or if I received a defective one. Waiting to hear back from customer service as to what they'd like me to do next.”
